I am about to pull the trigger on some M28s and I have read the reviews on BF (thanks to the search function) I am trying to get an idea of how many BF members own them and how they like the Neuvation sets.

And pics of the wheelset on your ride just to make it interesting

I put a set on FELT F90 and it's ahuge upgrade over the original ALEX DA22s, these things roll rorever!
I went to Raleigh NC this past weekend to ride with Team CBC and I could outcoast most everyone there, keeping up was another story. As I was cleaning my bike at home after ride I gave the front wheel a good spin and it spun and then rocked back and forth as the speedo magnet settled to the bottom for 11 minutes.
I have the M28 AERO3s and am very happy, sorry, don't know how to post pics yet.

I have a set of M28 aero 3's as well. They have about 1000 miles on them and no issues so far.
I did opt for the extended warranty just in case.
They look very nice on my 2008 Roubaix as well.

Those are nice lookin'. Did you have trouble removing the decals? I find them over the top and a little too "in your face".

No problem with the decals, I bought them for myself during last years Neuvation Thanksgiving sale,
so I had some time to spend getting then off.
You could use a hair dryer to heat them up and pull them off slowly, then some Goo Gone will take care of the residual adhesive.
I also recommend your choice of adult beverage during the removal process if it's too cold out to ride. : )

M28 Aero 3's also. I really like the wheels. I have close to 2,000 miles on them this year and am very happy with them. They are very strong and roll out really well. Used a hair dryer to heat up the stickers, residue came off just by rubbing it a little. About 20 minutes to do both wheels.

I have a set of M28 Aero2's. 4000+ miles later I think they might need to be trued but it is hard to tell. Good wheels and great support.

Another happy M28 Aero 3 owner. I've got at least 2500 miles on mine and they've held up well under my 235 lbs. with only a couple of minor rear wheel truings. And yes, they do spin forever.

For the price, you get a very very strong wheelset (2000 miles and going), they roll very fast, I can go side by side with my friends on a downhill coasting (rider weights pretty close), and I ALWAYS end up pulling away. Tons of rough roads and potholes and still spin true. You will not find wheels in this class cheaper than what John sells them for. Customer service is also top rate.

Picked up my set of M28 Aeros this spring. I rode over 3000 miles this year and I am mostly happy. The initial acceleration compared to my prior heavier wheel set was an awesome improvement. I was definitely the fastest down hill coaster in my group. They were responsive when climbing and stable in high speed descents. After about 2k miles I started noticing an occasional metal on metal squeal coming from my bike when I pedaled. My LBS attributed the noise to the rear hub rubbing against the metal protective cap. They applies some grease between the hub and the cap and I have not heard the noise since. I am not very experienced biker, but this seemed odd to me. Otherwise I have ben very happy with these wheels.

M28 Aero 2 for roadbike/cmmuter all rounder.
Bomb proof. Dead true. Roll fast.
BEST price to performance ratio out there.
Equal price points with other brands will give you 200g extra weight and worst bearings.

Have you tried removing stickers from new debit/credit card?
The Neuvation Decals are just like that. Do it slowly and it will be easy. Do it fast and you'll mess up...
I let 2 stickers on each side to stay though. They don't look too bad. Good convo starters on group rides too.

Sounds cool.

The stickers could be a little less, maybe one set on each side of the rims, but four??? And perhaps in red...maybe.

One thing I must add: I don't really like the quick release skewers that come with the wheels. They seem huge and industrial. I replaced mine with some blue crank brothers.

I have 2 sets now. Both are SL5s, but one set has a PT rear hub. Combined 4000 miles on them now, and no complaints at all. They are really great for the price. I've had to true them slightly a few times, but I ride on some rough roads.

I have a set and am very happy with them, even after hitting a pot hole and wiping out at 20 mph, they still roll true.

only good things to say here. i have m28s, approx 500 miles on them, no issues thusfar. i have an aluminum allez and find the ride to be comfortable. i weigh 145. find a better wheelset at this price, performance and weight (<1700g)? not likely

have an r28 front, it's great. have an r28 rear, the alu freehub body was gouged out by the 3000km mark. have an m28sl rear. it's good.

I've had a set of R28 Aero 3's for about 5000 miles worth. Front wheel has been perfectly true the entire time. Rear was great until I put the RD into it while rolling and emergency unclip (the wrong way). John rebuilt the wheel with a new rim and it's never been quite the same. Stays true but makes noise. I just ordered another set for a new build, so I stand behind them. Great value.

One thing that bugs me about Neuvation is how dated the font is they use!!! Sorry just a design fanboy... At least you can remove the decals!!!
