It's like the velo version of those PC idiots telling me about how slow my Mac video board is and how I should covet their clocked processors.

It matches the DIY frame well.

Someone has way toooooooo much time on their hands. That cassette looks like DIY too. Man, I wish I had the time to hand grind my own cassette cogs out of scrap metal.

The whole bike appears to be home made. The wheels are aluminum with some kind of homemade carbon faring attached. I don't know wtf is going on with the derailer hanger. Looks like he ran out of carbon so he decided to make it out of playdough.

Thankfully there are people in this world willing to try things.

I'm surprised that the servos are strong enough for the RD, but overall it doesn't look bad from a technical standpoint. Probably not quite as functional as DI2 (although i'd like to know more about the firmware- did he program in auto-trim on the FD?), but not bad nonetheless.
Wouldn't take it through a puddle though

Pretty cool actually. Not nearly as professionally packaged, but it might make some people feel that the price for DI2 is, well, ridiculous. Not that new cycling gear doesn't always come with a ridiculous price tag that we happily pay anyway

[QUOTE=clarkgriswold;9970230]wow..
What's up with those brakes, too?

Cantilever. Looks like there isn't a mount across the seat stays to mount standard road brakes.
While fugly, the more I look at this bike, the more it intrigues me. I love the fact that I've built both my bikes from the frame up but this is truly a completely homemade/handmade bike.

I'd be surprised to see those servos hold up without a servo saver, hopefully they're at least metal geared servos.
