Al dente pasta with super-garlicky marinara. (Usually a whole head (head, not bulb) of garlic in a single serving.) I add some to the sauce early on, but save two or three cloves for just-before I turn off the flame and melt the fresh-grated parmesan into it. And of course basil and oregano leaves freshly-ripped from the plants on my windowsill, and the overpriced Italian anchovy filets.
Friday nights are the only times I get to enjoy it, thanks to my whiny coworkers.

Also salads. I'm pretty proud of my salads. I either go with Bragg's apple-cider vinegar or make my own (but it's hard not to go overboard on the garlic.)

Well I usually eat during the ride or after the ride.
I go for anything full of carbohydrates like grain.
I usually finish a workout with a glass of milk or something with protein.

Chicken Pot Pie or
Sun Dried Tomato, Goat Cheese, and Fresh Basil Wheat Crust Pizza with my Special Pizza Sauce...all made from scratch.
Or brisket from my smoker, or Ribs, or Turkey or Pork Shoulder. Really anything I smoke on the WSM.

I discovered the answer tonight. During a longish ride with mah two buddies on Fixies, we stopped and I had a turkey/ham/cheese sammywich from 7-11. Then a muffin at the end. That was fantastic. I don't know how they could possibly cram 330 calories into that sandwich, though.

Post ride, Scrambled cheese eggs (4) with onion and bacon some salt and pepper to taste.
I scramble the eggs really soft then toss with pasta usually Penne. If my Basil is doing well
a quick chop of that on top.
