SOMA saddles?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

SOMA saddles?

Has anyone tried the SOMA reproduction/knockoff/homage saddles? I am intrigued by the Hisan, which seems to be a Selle Italia Flite repro, except that it has steel rails and a synthetic cover (which argues for use on my CX/rain bike).

You might want to try posting in SSFG as these saddles seem to be popular in the fix scene.

you could also try Charge saddles. Wiggle lists a good range of them.

I have and Ensho on one of my bikes. I find it quite comfortable. I have the leather version, and it still looks new but only has about 1000 miles on it.

they do look very very similar to what they are copying but i am not sure they would feel the same. slightly different dimensions or padding can greatly affect saddle comfort. give it a try and let us know!
