Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bike for my dad -- Good Price?

What would be a good deal for this Cannondale? It has complete 105 component, except for ultegra shifters/brake levers.

The LBS agreed to sell it without wheels (I have a spare set). How much would you pay?

Square taper 105 BB, Older 105 stuff. Without wheels. Nothing earthshattering. Maybe 4-500 if it was super clean, but that bike isn't super clean from what I see from the pics. What's their asking price?

$350

Not because I don't think it could be worth more, but because that's $50 more than bikes like this go for on craigslist here. That may be different in your area (actually, it probably is).

If you wanted to buy an equivalent bike brand new it'd cost you about $850 (although you'd have sora brifters). However, it'd also be brand new.
