Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

welcome back bdcheung.....haven't seen you in awhile.

"in before lock" as well ....however the "lock" function is likely 'effd up too so it wont work due to the "upgrade" and "network problems"

So we can turn this into a pistol thread without fear...

What's the best small cal. heater to carry in your non-"TDF costume" jersey....?

Don't get me wrong, I liked RyanF, he could stir the pot like few others.
And he had the same TCR and color scheme that I owned so I know he was smarter than he ever let on.

I grew up there. You didn't, it appears. Main Post and K-18 from JC to Ogden/Manhattan are flat along the KS river. Everything else is up in the Flint Hills. It ain't the Rockies, I'll grant you. Search the touring posts of folks who've actually ridden in NE Kansas. It sure ain't flat.

Having been to eastern KS, I can confirm...far from flat. Western KS, however, is a different story. Highest point is probably the shopping center on Wyatt Earp Boulevard in Dodge City. Smelliest point, too, as I recall.
