Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Powertap/705- multiple rides before download

Hey all,
I usually download each ride. What is the procedure for doing two rides (like on a weekend) without downloading? I've had issues before where it didn't save either ride or just one of the two rides.

For example at the end of day one, I hit stop. then just power off. And power back up on the second day? What about reset?

I think thats what I did before- I had the previous ride data on there and did the reset- where you hold down the lap button and it zeros it all out- Well I didn't have both ride's data when I downloaded.

Anyways...thanks for the feedback.

When it's time to start a new ride, just hold down the Lap button for about three seconds and you can reset the timer/etc.

Then when you go to download there will be two new files instead of one.

That's what I do anyway.

You will have no problems. As mentioned, simply hold the the lap button for three seconds after each ride is complete. This closes the file for that ride. The next time you press the start button a new file is created.

Yes the lap button. Makes a mess of the data when you don't stop and then hit the lap button.
