Condition of Capital Crescent Trail
 

Did anyone ride the Capital Crescent Trail today (December 6)? I'm planning on riding it tomorrow and am wondering whether the snow and ice from Saturday is gone.

I didn't, but I was out in Reston today where there was plenty of rutted ice on the ground. I live right off the trail - there will ALWAYS be ice around the entrance / exit to the Dale Carlia tunnel after a snow and it usually lasts for a while even if you have a sunny day because of the shade.

So if you're thinking mtb or cross bike, maybe; road bike, not for me.
