Some things never change

So after a boring day of football I decide to log in and read up on some cycling stuff. To my amusement the forum is still talking about a certain someones Cervelo and how much or how little the bike weighs. With the new look and "feel" of this forum and it's lame topics, I think it's time to move on. I hate winter.

Hmmm...from FREDerick, Colorado. How fitting...

McTufferton 12-13-09 06:34 PM

You posting a thread about it really added to the insightful and informational discussion. Thanks.

You used it's correctly and incorrectly in the same paragraph.

LOL. Good one.

Go to a piano forum. Full of sophisticated people there.

enjoi07 12-13-09 06:48 PM

no...but really...did you see how much mike new bike weighs?

Flatballer 12-13-09 06:55 PM

We're all extremely disappointed to have lost such a valuable part of the community.

Oh won't you please reconsider and give us another chance?

If you just use the same one all the time you're bound to get it right sometimes.

Grumpy McTrumpy 12-13-09 07:03 PM

People who are really moving on just leave. They don't announce it.

c_bake 12-13-09 07:11 PM

Next order of discussion: BikesDirect bikes. Are they any good?

I'll leave kicking and screaming in my usual mature fashion.

You're right, some things never change. Every couple of weeks somebody jumps in here and posts about how the same things are always being talked about on BF and then declares they will never be back. You complete the circle this month.

I understood him to mean that it's time to move on to other topics, not that HE was moving on.

Which begs the question, are there other topics?

silversx80 12-13-09 09:50 PM

Cervelo sucks.

This was the greatest first response, ever. The thread could have closed at that point and still be considered a success.
