Saddle Rippling?
So I had a question for you guys: For my only 1 week old bike, is it normal for the saddle to appear as if it's "rippling", as in the seat surface looks as if it's bumpy (refer to the red sections)? If it helps any, when I took my bike to get fitted, the seat was tilted a little bit so that the nose is pointing up a little bit. I haven't experienced any discomfort on the bike at all either, is very comfortable.

Was it like that when you bought it or is it something that is developing?
Saddle tilt is personal if it works keep it. |
The whole saddle was smooth when I bought the bike (EDIT: Aside from the natural texture of the seat cover). If I run my fingers along the areas where it's rippling, it feels fine in that while I can feel the bumps, I can still press with my finger and the seat cushion goes in a bit.
Maybe I"m just being a bit paranoid ? |
If it's developing I'd take it back, not the area where you want bumps.

Well I'll keep riding it a couple more times and if it gets worse I'll take it to the LBS I guess.
