Riding for teams -- dumb question
 

Simpleton question here: Is it possible to ride for two teams and have both on your license?

Why? Looks like I am not going to be living where I can do much road stuff with one team, but will drive for the endurance mountain bike races. The road stuff I'll stay closer to home. hence the two teams.

I read the rule book. And yes, the book says you can ride for ONE team. However, mountain and road are two different events -- when a team for one sport is not available, there should be an exception. I emailed usacycling and here is the reply. Great response, btw. Really did help.

Because the Road and Mountain Bike licenses are *technically* to separate entities, you can have separate clubs for each license. To make sure that you add both clubs buy the licenses separately. Go in and buy your primary license first at $60, and add the appropriate club, at the end, to that license. Then, go back in and buy your secondary license for $30, attaching the right club for that license at the end of the transaction. When your license comes to you in the mail you’ll see both clubs listed on the license with the primary licenses club first.

Yes, it is no problem. We have a team mate that rides for a different team when he does Mtn events.
