Litespeed Archon on Bonktown

For anyone looking for a titanium bike:

Litespeed Archon - $3999.99

It's still quite a bit of cash, but its a lot cheaper than other online prices. Really nice looking bike IMO. Only negative is that it comes with DA7800 (not that this is bad, but some people might want the latest stuff).

Edit: If anyone is actually considering this, notice that the picture conflicts with the description on the wheelset. Pic: DV3K C, Description: Solitude. - Quite a difference.

I'll get right on that with all the cash I have sitting around right now.

Totally misleading. It says the bike comes with Reynolds Solitudes, while the picture shows some $2K+ DV3KC's.

Let me find that 4 grand I have sitting under my couch so I can get:

$1,600 - 2009 Cannondale Super Six
http://www.nytro.com/products2.cfm/B...Road-Framesets
$1564 - Dura-Ace 7900 Groupset
https://www.bikebuster.com/details/5...0&currency=usd
$706 - Dura-Ace CL Clincher 7850
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=25007
Extras - handlebars, seatpost, saddle, tires, tubes.

:D

Retail on the frame and fork is $4500.

Retail on a Colnago Ferrari is what, $15K? What's your point?

c'mon - if someone were to be considering that litespeed, this is a pretty good deal, even without any wheels. 7800 is a great group too.

Just saying... :innocent:

They have some tires on there for $20 right now. Shipping will probably be another $20...

:D

that would be a sweet supersix, except for two things:

-nytro doesn't deliver that frame, you gotta get someone to buy it for you & then ship it
-cannondale is nice & all, and i love my six13, but titanium is real :thumb:

on the otherhand, that deal was apparently so good that the bike is sold out; on bonktown's sister site realcyclist, the frame alone is going for $3999

Gone but you gotta love this site. Current listing is for Smith Polarized sunglasses. In the features section Polarized = NO?

yeah, that's why i bought the similar parallel max on sierratradingpost. i think the grey lenses on the redline are polarized (as indicated by the lens choices), you could always email someone at bonktown & ask. from what i heard, their return policy is pretty good, too.
