Thanks Cateye for the great customer service

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks Cateye for the great customer service

Thanks Cateye for the great customer service

I remember someone else posted about how great Cateye's customer service was about a month ago... I've had a cycle computer that has just been sitting around because one of the sensors wasn't working. After reading the thread I decided to contact Cateye. Within two hours I received a reply and was asked for my address. The part was shipped out the same day and I just got it. I didn't even have to pay shipping or anything!

EDIT: I hope WR realizes that he's going to have to put up with this stuff at least 'till 2010...maybe we'll let him off the hook as a New Year's resolution.

Hey, no press is bad press.

FWIW: They didn't ask for proof of ownership or purchase

Haha! Then again, it didn't cost a few thousand dollars either.

Did do ask them by any chance how to replace the Astrale battery without losing the odo; so you don't have to run 12 magnets for a few months to get back?
