I read @ BikeSnob NYC that people are dumping their fixies because they have gone out of fashion. But that's really taking it to an extreme.

According to BSNY logic, I would say training with power.

It only reiterates how bad one sucks and the improvements one might gain will not change the ending result of peaking at a Cat-3 and then becoming fodder in the Masters races (for most).
