Need a Good Road Bike?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need a Good Road Bike?

I've got a new 2004 Marin San Marino that i ordered from the factory only to discover that the frame doesn't fit me.

I paid $1,400 but i'd be willing to let it go for 1K (I'm negotiable)

It's got chromoly/crbon frame and ultegra groupo

I'll throw in the wireless cateye computer and a set of Time pedals if the price is right

go to marinbikes.com--->bikes--->san marino---->view bike geometry

I hope i'm not breaking any protocols by trying to sell a bike here

I'm a "newbie"

respond or call me at 520-272-8702

the frame size is a 56
in Marin Bikes that translates into a Large
i suggest you go to marinbikes.com--->bikes--->roadbikes--->san marino--->bike geometry
this will give you all the specs for a marin san marino large

I love my 2001 54cm Marin San Marino. They did outfit the bike with Campy that year...

Marin bikes in general are a better deal to buy than sell. Because their road bike line is not too well know, their prices tend to stay pretty low on the used market.

That's how I picked up my 2001 for just under $600 shipped.

My 2001 was made in Italy by the Billato Brothers factory. If the new model is, you'll want to make that known.
