Cateye Mity 8 or Cateye Enduro 8

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cateye Mity 8 or Cateye Enduro 8

I'm stuck between whether i should put the Mity 8 or the Enduro 8 computer on my bike. I don't need anything fancy thats why i've decided to hold off on the wireless or the Astrale with cadence. I've got a road bike so anybody who has either want to sound off on what they think is the better. Thanks

I've got the Mity 8 and think it's just great. Have one on each of my two road bikes and one on my mountain bike. I don't ride my mountain bike over rough terrain, just rails to trails conversions. I had been looking for my Avocet that I missplaced and when I couldn't find it, I got the CatEye.

I have the Enduro on one of my Touring bikes & have had no problems over many miles. Bought it because it was on sale last year.

get the cheaper of the two. I have the mity, like it, but should've gotten one with cadence.

I have the Mity 8. It's been cool for 1000 miles thus far.

Isn't the only difference between the 2 that the enduro uses a slightly more heavyweight cable?

For a few dollars more, get the Enduro. The unit is identical, the only difference is the gauge of the wire. The Enduro is a bit more substantial and will hold up to numerous "mishaps".
