Where can I get a Fred exemption card?

Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Where can I get a Fred exemption card?

I turned sixty and picked up a rear view mirror over the weekend. Where can I get a Fred exemption card?

Meh, I have restricted range of motion due to injury and surgery so ride with a bar end mirror as well. Whatever enhances your vision.

I'm 42 and use a mirror. Do what you need to stay on the bike and enjoying your ride.

Using a mirror beats the neck out of becoming a hood ornament on a Lexus!

Sorry, that doesn't always work, the hard core Road Nazis still call me a Fred, and I do race with some of them on occasion.

I suspect that it pisses them off when they don't totally shell me. Humiliating me in the sprint isn't enough for them.

You can't have it both ways.

You don't have to justify your mirror, but it comes with a Fred Membership Card which you will have to produce when questioned (unless you're DZ, or a facsimile thereof).

Your biggest problem is that you give a flying fark about what anybody here or anyone else thinks. The entire world, including the entire 41, 33, cycling community, USA Cycling, and all of humanity in general, and particularly all those idiots who don't think the Jets have a chance in the post-season can totally go eff itself.

I think I covered most of it right there.

You're welcome.

But don't show up on the Nyack Ride with that stupid helmet mirror. You'll get yelled at.
