How do you store your carbon bike?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I take the bike and hang it on the wall by back wheel, so I don't stretch out the fork. I hang my other bike next to it, so it's not lonely at night. They sing each to each other. Nothing worse than having a lonely bike alone in the hallway or bedroom.

You missed something there! The drive side crank arm should ALWAYS be left at 3:02 O'clock position (in line with right chainstay) for best viewing from across the room or anywhere you park your bike!
Just like this with my Vitus Carbone:

BTW, that's a Topeak folding stand holding up my bike. It works pretty well indoors or outdoors as you can see. Don't use it as a shop stand though, it's a little bit fragile. Just good for mostly parking purposes IMO.

chemical reactions between carbon and certain wall paints will cause carbon frames to spontaneously combust.

sorry to create a thread taken so unseriously. Would you treat a carbon bike worth $3,000 the same as one worth $600? You would think cyclists are a tight knit group who do anything to help out other cyclists, but tons of times in these forums the cycling "elite" guys have to lash out on the beginners or people who do not know much about cycling. There is so much criticizing and sarcasm when people are legitimately trying to learn or ask questions.

now this may sounds like a dump question, but if you lean your bikes against something can they become untrue? Like can the wheels become untrue and can the handlebars become not as straight?

Absolutely amazing. Someone can do everything right and then, STORE AT 72.3???? Anything over 69.2 is excessive.

Come on now. Your skin needs a little more density than that. Carbon or not, it's a bike, it looks after you on the road, so look after it when your not riding. But don't stick a halo over it's leather bit of hide. Just use common sense. It won't hurt from being hanged, leaned or otherwise placed in the same fasion as your previouse rig.

Be tender with the stand clamp though, that can do some injustice.
