Accelerade What Flavor???
Hello,
I recently switched from Cytomax to Accelerade and chose lemon lime as my choice. Well I think it taste like crap
. Are any of the flavors any good or do I just have to grin and bear it?
Thanks...

I don't think it's worse than Gatorade, but everyone is obviously different.
I just emptied my LL can, my next one is the fruit punch flavor. It's a 56 serving like yours, so i hope i don't grow tired of it before i run out!

The fruit punch flavor is my favorite with orange being a close second. I tried blue rasberry this weekend and I'm not a huge fan... lemon lime isn't good for me at all.
Make sure you're buying new product that says "improved taste" on the canister as the older stuff pretty much all tasted really bad.

I'm on the E-Fuel band wagon...I've only had one flavor so far, but it tasted okay. I'm impressed with how I felt...amazing! I rode nearly fifty miles on Saturday and I felt great. Plenty of energy. I would have kept going but I was hoplessly lost. I pretty much knew where I was, but there was a lake in between where I was and where I needed to be. Anyway...yeah, try e-fuel, I love it.

i've been using accelerade fruitpunch for the past month and has been working well. tastes pretty good. this past weekend i picked up a couple cytomax single packs in tropical fruit and i must say they do taste better than accelerade.

I'm with Cycleprincess on the E-Fuel. GREAT STUFF. They also have a gel that taste pretty good and works even better.

Accelerade has two things going against it. Ok three if you count flavor. It is too sweet which could cause blood sugar to crash and the protein makes it harder to digest.
Protein is good after the ride but during the latest recommendation from WholeAthlete.com is Revenge Sport.
Hammer Nutritions HEED might be another low sugar selection but have yet to taste test.
My dentist is also after me to lower the sugar
Good luck
