Anyone know about the Vitus Alium
I was searching through chainreactioncycles.com's listings of frames and came across the Vitus Alium (it says by Calfee on the chain stay). Of course there's not a single description of the frame or a geo chart. There's some good pics, but mainly I was interested in the $300 price tag which includes shipping to the U.S. The frame is clearly aluminum with a carbon fork. Can't find any reference to it anywhere. Anyone out there ride one?

Not Calfee, Cyfac. Ask them for specs. The only other reference I could find for that frame lists it as 650c. So it could be a 26" wheelsize instead of 700c.

It appears Cyfac bought the rights to the Vitus name and had some cheap aluminum frames made. That gets them a low end business while keeping their high end brand. It appears Vitus as a company no longer exists.
It does appear very similar to the Cyfac Proxidium - look at the shape and joining of the tubes, cutouts in the dropouts, and cable stops. However the Proxidium is a French made $1200 aluminum frame. It could be they gave the specs to a Chinese factory and said, make this frame and do it for $75. That doesn't mean its bad though.
As said, email Cyfac for info.
But for that price you can get a nice used condition CAAD7 or CAAD8 frame.
