Business travel halfway through racing season
I got the word yesterday that I might have to travel for business two weeks consecutively, right during the middle of racing season. Not only would I likely miss a race or two, and a 160 mile ride we treat like a race every year that I had hoped to finish in the top twenty and better my PB time, I likely would be off the bike the whole time. Pretty disappointed about the whole thing.
Initially.
Then the potential reality kicked in. Traveling to Germany. In July. I'll have the weekend of 17July off. Will be done with the assignment 23July. I can delay my return to the states and take leave when I'm finished, and my employer will still pay the return airfare, since they would have had to originally anyway.
If it pans out, final ITT and final stage of '10 TdF, here I come!
