I like organized rides also. I'm fairly new to riding, and they give me a chance to meet people with a common interest.
I have the following scheduled;
Natchez Trace Century--Ridgeland, MS
Cheaha Challenge--Talledega, AL
WC Hamby Ride--Florence, AL
Hot 100--Tuscaloosa, AL
Montgmery Autumn Classic, Montgomery, AL
Six Gap
BBC Century--Birmingham, AL
Ride for Drew--Tuscaloosa, AL
Those are the organized rides that I have penciled in. All subject to change.

Passive-aggressive for fun centuries are my thing. I've done 6 so far this year, will do another Saturday, and then the first organized event of the year for me will be the Solvang Double at the end of March.
I did the California triple crown last year. Unsure if I'm doing 3 doubles this year, but I plan to do DeathRide and attempt Everest Challenge later in the summer.

Three on tap so far:
Cohutta 100
Lumberjack 100
Mohican 100
maybe one more...
Ok I guess these aren't road centuries, but 100 miles nonetheless

I rode my first Century ride this year on Friday. 109 miles through Georgia and Alabama. It was mostly solo, but a friend met me at the 87 mile mark and finished the ride with me. I got kind of tired from 60 miles and on, but I'm psyched that I could do it this early in the year. There were some hills in the middle of the ride and some smallish ones near the end. It was a beautiful day, although it began with frost. I was able to peel off leg and arm warmers and enjoy the sun. There's a lot of clear cutting going on in this area. It looks kind of harsh. 5 or more dogs came out to challenge me. One big, black and mean sounding dog got within a couple of feet of me. I got a little boost out of that. Ha.
It's great to get out and explore on a bicycle. There aren't very many better ways to spend a day.

If you have a chance, 3 state 3 mountain is one of the best centuries in the country! Also the Clarksville Sunrise Century in Clarksville, TN is blistering fast (I finished it in 5hrs 26minutes weighing 262 lbs as my first ever century).

I am doing the National Capital Chapter MS Bike Ride this year. I have been signing up for it for the last eight years. I DNF twice, both when they changed route. I am training harder this year so hopefully I can have a better finishing time this year. I might do the Civil War Century if schedule permits.
