Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Velo Volmobile

I'm getting it from all sides now--even the dopes in 250.

Oh, the tribulations of being a misunderstood roadie.

Serious question - is there any other kind?

On a brighter note, Iran has decided not to stone that woman to death.

One must always ask 'why bother?' If the answer is not readily apparent, your course of action is clear.

Eff it.

True, but we're 11 games under .500. At least our GM is proclaiming we'll be contenders in 2011.

All hope is lost.

on the prime time TdF on versus 2 nights ago they had a feature about swallowing a temp probe in a capsule that wirelessly transmits core body temp to the team cars...they said once you hit about 102* you lose up to 30 watts...

would you swallow and crap out a plastic pill everyday to know your core body temp pcad, if it displayed on your Joule?

If I were him, I'd predict that the Cubs will be contenders in 2013, for a couple of reasons.

I hoped it was made of some cutting edge material that would pass better.

I try to avoid pooping plastic.

I can't put it all together, but something along the lines of "if I needed to put something in my mouth and swallow I would perfer it being small and white"?

A plastic pill would be better than the alternatives I would think.
