Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's a very distinctive structure, you'd remember it if you've seen a picture of it.

That was dumb, but it's not the dumbest post in this thread. Not even close.

Have you ridden SRAM or Campy groups? Just curious if you're comparing it to old Shimano stuff only or to multiple manufacturers.

velo, you are such an amateur. the simple trick in internet posturing is to claim it was a joke and then accuse everyone of not having a sense of humour. Duh!

You want a joke? This entire thread is a joke.

Nothing would be awesomer than to pull up the 41 and see one of these next to the word "Addiction".

I'd post that in the 33 but they'd only make fun of me.

Surely we don't get ALL of our produce from Jersey... so all of that other space matters... a little bit.

It's ironic that in a post on a bike forum a building is mentioned whose internal layout is such that one can possibly ride a bike to the top and then coast down again and it's not known. Then again, the Guggenheim would probably frown on that activity. MOMA might give it a green light, yes?

I've been trying to improve BikeForums by killing this thread.

I've tried to organize a peaceful boycott, tried to take it ridiculously off topic, and made intellectual and emotional appeals to the decency and good judgment of the moderators.

Thus far nothing has worked.

Perhaps sabotage will do the trick?

Any thread you post in has been Gomertaged, which is even worse.

Like the avatar, am disappointed that this thread is still alive after a month or so away. Good God man, we could use this thread as a source of fuel and solve the energy crisis.
