First ride of the year + cussing rant
Today i cleaned up the bike and went for a short ride around town just to make sure everything was working.
Boy it felt so good to just stretch my legs and sprint. Finally came to a stop sign and decided to rest for a moment. Along comes a bus full of high school kids because school just let out. One kid in the back had his window down, leaned out and cussed at me!!? Probably shouldn't be so surprised but that's the first time someone has ever done that while i've been on a bike. I know i shouldn't let it bother me but it was total random and that's the only thing i could think of on the way home.

In socal, you're doing something wrong if you go for a ride and don't get cussed at by some teenagers. I guess it's the 'hip' thing to do around here. I guess white suburban kids have to find some way to be badass.

You realize you simply invite fun at your expense when you try to hide? Much better to flaunt it. They'll bust your balls some, but it's a much better way to go.

I'm sure we'll have the pleasure of supporting his incarceration later. Agree, let it go as quickly as you can. Can't let morons ruin a good ride.
