Sunglasses arms go under or over helmet straps?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Left side is under, Right side goes over, unless you are from Pennsylvania, Utah or Alabama, then it's the other way.

ahah yeah, I got that- I just don't see how they helmet straps wouldn't pull the arms wider than your head/ears and have them slip off.

Maybe my helmet is just crazy wide.

I used to go over when my straps would whistle.. they don't anymore so now they go under. I've heard this is a good idea so if you have a bee fly in your helmet you can pull off the helmet without losing your glasses. never happened to me but it is a thought.

It depends on the type of glasses. If you have typical wrap-around cycling glasses, they go over the straps. If you're wearing more ordinarly sunglasses, with close fitting bows, then they only work when under the straps.

Over.

When you crash you do not want your glasses trapped next to your face.

have you ever put your sunglasses under your helmet straps?
It feels like ass. Maybe do the practical thing before posting on the web....
Or really do what works for you.

Waste of the interwebz this is.

Under, I like to be able to take my helmet off without taking off my glasses. I have had a bee fly into my helmet, I was able to get my helmet off before it stung me and yes, I look like a fred.

Font of course, and I fold under the corners so it makes a nice arrow tip to pull on just like at the fancy hotels.

Do you unclip your left or right foot first?

Children keep asking the same questions over and over again hoping that sometime they will get the answer they want.

Under. Only it's regular glasses for me, not sunglasses. But I've accidentally gotten them over a strap with unintended consequences when I removed my helmet.
