wheels
im building a road bike right now and i recieved some free 29er wheels from a relative. the front wheel will work. the rear wheel is 135mm im assuming and i need 130 for it to properly fit. But i tried it the other day and the chain and seat stays bend just slightly and the wheel fits. Could i ride these wheels for a bit, or should i keep looking for wheels?

i wouldn't recommend it. You'd probably be OK... but still, you don't have ANYTHING else?

Possibly, and that's enough for me not to try it. Cycling has inherent risks. No need to add to them.

What kind of rear hub are you using? Many hubs can be easily converted to 130mm spacing. There is the possibility that the conversion might require you to re dish the wheel.
