Ah, now I see how you cleared your deck. You called Robbie, but he couldn't make it so he sent his backup.

Hardly a sign of spring, but I'm curious about your shoveling methodology.

You shovel until it's all off the deck. It took a couple of days.

Sorry ... wrong.

It's autumn here. According to the Australia calendar, March 1 was the first day of autumn.

Here's an autumn shot of a road near me. I took this photo on Feb 13th.

So???

That doesn't take away from the fact that it's autumn now. The first day of spring was September 1.

That should be lighter and easier to get rid of than old snow.

Way to go Ohio!

We don't have winter here. In fact, we rarely have weather except hot. The winter months are nice, not much rain. Here is a pic from last Thursday.

So what are the current temps in Middle Earth? Fahrenheit please.

Same here in Upstate NY. I'm thinking: "Epic Ride Time!" Or at least what passes for it this time of the year around here.

Central Sweden. -10 celsius. The winter beater bike has just been out a few times for training since mid december. Worst winter in twenty years. I´m not in shape...

Ixnay on the erfectpay eatherway. Thursday was exquisite.

But for the sake of honesty, admit that we do often have several days in a row of crap weather during winter with rain, cloud cover and 50's or 60's temps. Tour of California moved to May because of that junk. It's supposed to rain this Saturday. At night, but still.

I remember back in February of 84 there was an unseasonably warm spell to hit the Ohio/PA region which lasted a week. Sunshine and 60's and 70's temps. It was so freaking awesome! All the snow and ice melted, green stuff began to show, shorts and t-shirts were worn, windows rolled down while driving, people laughing and smiling. Then winter returned in a big way with heavy snow and crap temps.

I don't speak fahrenheit ... I even have trouble spelling the word. But you can do the conversions with the tools on this website:
http://www.onlineconversion.com/

Yesterday it reached 27C, today is supposed to do the same, and then a cold weather system is supposed to move in and it's supposed to be around 18-20C and somewhat rainy for the next 6 days. Winter's coming!!

WOOT! Looks like a storm missed us by 100 miles or something?? Whatever. I'm just happy to maybe shed at least one of my layers maybe not wear that damn jacket or the booties for a change!

@daytrip - absolutely! I told my hibernating friend the same thing, unhinge your bike off that trainer, man, I'm up for an "epic ride"! I don't care how many miles, just as long as it's a decent chunk of hours in the sun!
