Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Want.

That is an awesome deal, roughly 3x the bike I'm getting in Denmark for only 1.6 times the price

Had I not just dropped the coin for a Team Pro Fuji I'd be all over that, it's a great deal. I so love my BMC TT bike.

That frame is pretty nice looking, especially for aluminum.

I love the looks of that BMC and the closeout price is awesome. My only concern is buying a '07 bike that has a 3 year warranty on the frame. Does the warranty start now or does that bike only have 3 years from the time it was made, essentially having no warranty?

The Ridley is also a beautiful bike but they only have a 5 year warranty. I hope to own my bike longer than that and would be concerned about a CF bike that light with such a short warranty. Just wondering.

Warranties start at time of purchase.

If you want lifetime warranty on your new bike you should look at Trek.

.
the BMC is a 2009. i don't know how their warranty works, but it's only not been 2009 for 3 months.

I wasn't trying to be a smarta$$. I love the looks of BMC bikes and hope to test one, one of these days. It just seems the warranty is a bit short. Then again, I'm not pumping out huge watts and racing. They look solid and well made and I don't expect that I would break a frame unless I crashed and no manufacturer covers crashes (except with crash replacement discounts).

Either way, that's a great price for the bike from CC.

^ - Yeah, CC does this from time to time. Unfortunately, they do this either when I'm not really looking for anything or I don't have the ready cash on hand. Oh well, it's a great deal.
