Alias seat sag

My Specialized Alias is a fairly good match to my body. The one issue that I have is that it sags under my weight (185 pounds). I try to counter act this by mounting the seat with a slight nose down attitude. When I plant my fat behind on the seat, it slowly sags. The seat constantly fluctuates between nose too far down and nose a bit too high as I get in out of the saddle during rides. The seat clamp is tight.

Is this Alias sag normal? I am contemplating purchasing a Toupe - does it sag as well?

possibly you have a defective saddle. i have an alias on my commuter and i cant imagine how it would sag, it feels so firm. if anything there is more flex in a toupe than the alias.

It's designed like a hammock, it's supposed to sag.

the entire BG line is designed as such.
