Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Sticky?

what about having a sticky thread about road rash in this forum. A lot of people seem to be crashing, me included, and a quick reference would be helpful to try and get healed up quickly.

I recommend 2nd skin patches for large road rash, and burn jel plus. they both burn badly at first then soothe quite well and keep the area moist for like 12 hours. Once it is down to first degree burns then just put some vasiline to keep it moist in the day and leave it uncovered at night to heal properly. Don't scratch it. And for cleaning yourself, i used luke warm water and tooka 5 mg hydrocodone 30 min before and that helps alot, though it is still agony until like the 5th day. I am 5 days into 2nd degree burns and my stuff doesn't hurt at all with this stuff on it.
