Why I hate umd

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why I hate umd

Jealousy, that is all.

I am hoping he was stuck in a cubical yesterday.

I had a great trip actually. Four rides in four days. One in Burlington, VT, one in San Fran, one in San Diego and finally Santa Barbara. Then I had to leave. Darn work.

I will admit that this drew my "official" attention and I clicked the link with evil intent but......

I can understand jealousy. I've never ridden with him but I'm sure he's much faster.

Let's not go down the wrong road with this, though. OK?

Yes, lets not make it a nasty thread guys. That isn't the intent. It was a tongue in cheek comment and compliment for a spectacular part of California. Yesterday was an incredible day there. Maybe cool by local standards but no wind and clear. I like umd and he has always been helpful when asked questions.

I just have 'sideburn' envy. And the fact I have a Specialized is mere coincidence.

That a Citation? Also, is your company hiring any pilots? I'd love to get away from the shenanigans in the 121 world.

Oh, I also share your hatred of umd.

Do you get to take a bike with you when you fly? I used to fly 121 but that was years ago. 5-0 now... I really miss the view and flying in the clouds.

It's just you. My personal theory is that you are trying to catch up to Mr 38k, or you are the same guy that sent me an email offering me $30 million and that this is a new "angle".
