New Frame Under 300

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Frame Under 300

Looking to build a bike, I have a Sora groupset for it. Currently looking for a new frame that's under 300 bucks, I have looked at the Performance, Nashbar, and the Scattante XRL.

Am I missing something else in this price range?

If you don't want a brand-name, so to BikeIsland.com (run by BD) and you can get aluminum frames with carbon forks for about 275. I know it is probably annoying by now how often i recommend BD, but hey, it's cheap.

I used to ride a Leader 717. Excellent frame for short money. Reasonably light, too. Have to figure in a fork, though.

you could use a BD frame as a blank canvas and get your own graphics made
