Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a Willier 29`er MTB.

In the past there has been paint problems on their road frames, but i guess they have fixed that by now.
I looked at their road bikes a year ago, but the paint problem was a worry for me.
Ended up with a Giant TCR0 instead, but i really like Williers frames - cool looking.

EDIT: Should mention that i didn`t get the Wilier because it would have to be bought over the internet, and if i did get problems with paint it would be a hassle for me.
If i could buy it a LBS i would have gotten a Wilier.

lots of guys over here ride and race them. they're good looking bikes, but I don't know anything else about them. I don't think I've ever been to a ride where I haven't seen at least one though.

My LBS sells Wilier and Giant. The Williers look great and I heard they ride nice too. Some dude parks his Mortirolo outside my work and I see many people checking it out.

There are a couple guys in my club who ride them. Very nice bikes but have never heard of any paint issues from them. I took a Izoard and Cento Unoo out for a test ride, very nice but could't pull the 8G out of my pocket.

They worked for Pantani, not to mention Rebellin and Ballan.

My LBS sells the Willier, in fact I'm saving right now to buy the Izoard frameset. Approx $2,000.

I seem to recall a young man named Fiorenzo Magni enjoying a bit of success on Wiliers also.

I want one for the name alone. Unless I have been incorrectly informed Wilier is an acronym for Viva Italia Liberated and Redeemed.

Had a teammate with a Mortirolo. I think they are great. They are more rare over here than Colnagos and Pinarellos.
