What computers have a stem mount???

I just installed my K-Wing bars tonight...and, because of the design of the bars, I cant use my Specialized Turbo computer. I am looking for a new computer, that I can mount to my stem. Anyone have one, or know of one?

the sigma sport BC 1200 & 1600 computers are able to be mounted on both the
stem and the handlebars.

Cateye made a stem mounting kit for the Astrale 8. Don't know if they exist for their other computers. There was a picture of the mounting kit in the on-line PDF version of the owner's manual. The printed copy that I have doesn't mention the kit.

Profile Design makes a universal knob kit to intall any cyclecomputer on aerobars. You can also get by with PVC pipe, cable ties, and a hacksaw.

A local bike shop (the same guys who invented the Cane Creek Crono-wheels and the Tire Finger) has invented one of these. Try http://www.bikepartsusa.com/product_...ml?p=01-170035 or http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/Accessories.asp#nob .

i have the nob thingy around the stem on my trek. my older specialized speedzone elite would not fit around the 31.8 bar on my new bike. the nob works great.

'Course, you could just learn to read the display sideways. :)

Waitaminit, this gives me an idea. Since it's an LCD display, which (AFAIK) is just a matrix of "pixels", why aren't computers programmed to be able to display "portrait" or "landscape"? How hard could that be to program in?

You sure they "invented" it? I've seen such a gadget on triathlon bikes for the last 15 years and used one myself 12 years ago (it came with a set of aerobars from long-gone Dutch triathlon specialists Speedline).

My SI-90HR computer has a stem mount. I love it. Wireless, heart rate monitor, and all the cyclocomputer basics, and it is mounted on my stem to give me full use of my handlebars. Couldn't be happier with it so far.
