Under 100 dollar bib suggestions?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I would say... shameless plug below in my signature. The Hammer Nutrition bibs by Voler are well below $100 if you follow that link. If you've never ordered from them before you'll save 15% using that link. They will also send you a bunch of free samples.. gels, powders and stuff free along with your order. I have 3 pairs and they have served me well.

The Bergamo's a little more but have heard good things about them. They are also available from Hammer.

I'm pretty happy with my Suarez bibs. Definitely not the greatest out there and I don't have the most refined taste, but they were 75 bucks, and that's good by me.

I'll second the Hammer bibs, I've got two pair myself and they're both great.

Any of the Giordana bibs from the Silverline and up. Good prices at Ribble Cycles (UK) but shipping will be an issue until the volcano thing sorts itself out.

Edit: Giordana bibs at Ribble.

Ibex Arrivee - you can find them for $90 and they're made of wool. Very comfy, not itchy, warm when it's cool but cool when it's warm.

I'm a big fan of Hammer Voler bibs, but the price has gone up by $20 since last year.

Another vote for Performance Ultra II's. I picked up a couple pairs recently on sale for $49.00 (thanks for the coupon code BF guy) and they are excellent. The chamois is nice and firm and made in Italy by the company that makes them for Assos and other top brands (Cytec?). Not saying these are the same league as Assos or other more expensive brands but they are good enough for me. The overall material breathes very well, is durable and comfortable. Plus, Performance stands by their products.

I don't know anything about the other Performance shorts or bibs but the Ultra II's are excellent and usually on sale for $65 or so. My only regret is not buying three pairs.

I got Cannondale Domestique locally because I needed something fast and they're definitely good for $70.

Another vote here for Voler. I'm partial to the ones with the "Torino" pad.
