Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone Else get in on the Pedal Force C-4 wheel group buy?

Got some new toys today, as my C-4 wheelset from the Pedal Force group buy showed up. I went with the CA 2.2 wheels, replacing my anchor weight Mavic Askiums. As heavy as the Askiums are They were a reliable wheelset never giving me any issues over 2500 miles. As far as the new wheels, they feel very light and appear to have nice build quality. I did not feel any burrs on the lip where the tire seats. The rim tape was already installed, and they came with a spoke tool. The freewheel is almost silent. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to get in a ride other than down the street, but the weight difference compared to the Askiums is quite noticable. They also spin much longer than the Mavics. Time will tell how they hold up. Here are some picks on the bike. (which now weighs in at 15.8 lbs in a size 58cm)
