Readjusting your seat?

I've noticed that every month or so it seems I need to readjust my seat. I'll set my seat where I like it, and then weeks later realize it's lowered itself a bit from the constant riding. Is this normal? I doubt it's a weight issue, I'm around 5'9" ~140lbs.

P.S. I'm not growing taller (though I wish.)

Tighten that clamp!

Tighten the clamp or use some carbon grease... If you're mixing a carbon post with aluminum frame or vice versa you should use the special carbon grease.

Definitely something that needs fixing. I had the same issue with a ti frame/al seatpost and got a lot of suggestions on here about how to fix it (no grease, different grease, loctite, hair spray etc.) - I ended up going with a better Salsa clamp (wider and with a pivoting clamping bolt) that completely fixed the issue.
