Weird thread bump. Hopefully the OP managed to ride that 60 miler at some point in the last 11 years.
For me the main difference between 40 and 60 is a stop to refuel and maybe take a leak. I can usually knock out 40 without stopping for fluids/snacks, but probably not 60.
