Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fondriest Domino Carbon?

I came across this frame a few days ago:

https://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=J1016

Take a look at it, it certainly appears to be the same frame as the Fondriest Domino Carbon - same VERY unique look, same weight, even all the specs are the same (just the size name is different) - and it's less than 1/2 the price!

Does anyone have any experience with this bike, or know if the Fondriest is an expensive rebadging of someone elses frameset?

I was seriously looking at the Domino Carbon until I saw this .. it certainly appears that the "Italian" beauty is just a rebadged version of a different frameset.

Any info would be appreciated.

Looks like a copy of it, not the same thing. Its lacking the gusset above the brake bridge, and looks like the BB and chainstay interface is slightly different.

The tubing is a bit different too, looks like fatter tubes and doesn't have that quirky tappering at the tube ends.
