Recommend me a vest

I live in NM and we have some early summer, early fall rides at high altitude where the temperature start in the 30's (40's at best) and end up in the 80's...

I'd like to ride these with arm warmers + ss jersey + a vest.

Any recommendations on a vest that's not too bulky when stored? Budget is up to $150, but less would be awesome too...

edit: waterproofness isn't much of an issue around here...

personally i would be fine with just arm warmers at 40 degrees.... the vest would be a bit much IMHO, so maybe save the money for something else. I think 3 layers is a tad excessive.

I picked up an Exteondo Tucan vest last month that I really like. Light weight with Gore Windstopper so it just takes the edge off...

I bought a team windvest off Ebay, one that was obsolete, from CC Evesham. I love it. It's not very compressible. That would be a problem. If I'm wearing it and it gets too warm I just unzip it and let it flap in the breeze. Seems to work fine.

I have a Windstopper vest, too. It's really quite a bit warmer than a nylon vest. It will fit in a back pocket easily enough. Go to the Gore Bike Wear website, I think they are now called Helium vests.
