Selle Italia Flite Carbonio

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Selle Italia Flite Carbonio

Does anyone have any experience with this saddle. I found that my Selle Italia SLR's were wearing out in 4-5000 km. The leather on the side of the saddle would wear out along the front from the repetetive rubbing of my thighs on the sharp edge. At 135 grams I guess that while extremely comfortable they are not built with durability in mind. Anyways after it gets expensive replacing saddles. So, I spent a few extra $'s and got the Flite carbonio since it is the Flite closest in design to the SLR. Also, the carbon rails look sweet plus the conventional design means I will not have to replace as often.

So has anyone used this saddle?

Tried it. Didn't like it. But saddles are more of a personal thing than anything else.
