Sped up video of a local bike ride in Northern Cali (Davis)
 

Okay, so it's not a "bikecam" video - that would take too many batteries, and SD cards and be a pain. So I drove the route in my jeep and filmed it that way. It's beautiful up the Davis area.

This ride starts in Winters (about 10 miles from Davis), winds through the country and features a 850ft climb right in the midpoint of the ride.

Heh, Cantelow looks pretty flat in the video. BTW, that's almost the same course as the Winters Road Race.

Yeh, the video doesn't really do it justice. It was my first hill climb attempt. Did pretty well. Only stopped a couple times. Though, I did learn the brakes on my bike aren't really all that great :)

I got the route off the davis wiki bike routes page. Maybe one day I'll do Mix ;)
