shimano chain from Ebay Original?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

shimano chain from Ebay Original?

hello all out there
i just received a Shimano HG-93 9 speed chain from ebay
it was about half the price of buying it from a shop here (we just get used to things being expensive here)
so im wondering if its original, i assume so
its come in original box chain and info wrapped separately all looks well

EXCEPT the links have different markings
most have shimano , cn-hg93 and HG in the center of the link
but some have VIA written on them and some have HL on them

does that seem right???
cheers from perth WA

Yeah, I've seen all of those markings on shimano chains, and it's normal for different links to have different markings like that. I wouldn't worry about it.
