Thanks for the heads-up! I've been meaning to order a pair for awhile now. Just did it. Two tires, delivered for $60.51 USD. That's what they are EACH locally. Unreal.

Hah hah....I've seen a bit of your plight here on the forums....luckily I won't really NEED these tires for a couple more months if my mileage remains consistent!

SWEET! I have to change out a pair soon anyway so this comes in handy, thanks for the heads up.
This is one area where I can't resist taking advantage of these kind of deals because I don't mind spending an extra $20 to support the LBS on a purchase but $60 is another story especially on tires which get replaced fairly regularly.

Thanks!! I just ordered 2 as my first set is beginning to show signs of wear. I really like these tires.

Cheers! That's good to know, next batch I'll head out and pick some up there to contribute to the local economy.

Last time I ordered, I found out when I got my credit card statement that Citibank adds a 3% fee to PBK (and any other foreign) purchases. (The exchange rate that Citi applied was also slightly less favorable than what PBK used, not surprisingly.) The tires still come out cheaper, but Citi certainly takes their "vig." Do other card issuers charge the same fee?
Finally, as has been mentioned before, it's worth using a "virtual account number" if you can when ordering from PBK.

Noisebeam is a liar, it's really my fault since I bought a new pair yesterday, thank me instead! lol
Also, 60$ for a pair shipped... screw me sideways and call me Sally, that's more expensive that just ONE tire at any LBS I've been to.

Ordered some this morning. I get two tyres for the price of one locally. I don't need them yet but still...
At least I'm keeping my LBS happy by having them special order a wheel for me. And I must be due to take a couple of bikes there for a service.

Ordered a set also.... Should we be concerned that their current stock is listed as -9 tires?
Makes me really glad I didn't place the order yesterday when I was looking at them.

FYI, it's not the Conti GP 4000 with the chili compound, if you care.

But the Grand Prix 4000 S can do more than just look good. With the new Black Chili Compound rolling resistance is reduced by 26%, grip is increased by 30% and mileage is increased by 5%.
