Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

He had a white water bottle with a blue bike. Everyone knows you must match your water bottle to your bike.

Score! My bottles are blue/white/grey with red trim and black accessories, just like my bike. Even more importantly, my race tires match my bar tape.

Wait, if I get dog hair tangled up in my derailleur pulleys does that mean I shouldn't shave my legs?

Hmm...I didn't know that. I don't even have matching water bottles. In fact, one is a Trek white bottle, one is a clear Hammer Nutrition freebie with a red top, and the other is a a clear one with a yellow top (area bike shop freebie). They're different sizes ... all on a Lynskey Ti brushed finish bike (w/ one in a jersey pocket). I must be Freddin' pretty bad and didn't even know it. Didn't know it mattered so much.

Maybe I'm suffering from Fredignorance?

gatorade is not a sports drink. it is meant for fat teenagers who think drinking it makes them look like cool athletes.

Man, I must be a sub-FRED then. I've got a super sexy and always clean and shiny Cervelo P2C - with a rear rack and watter bottles lined with no other than ghetto duct tape to prevent bottle ejections.

I rode a metric with a group in a double paceline a few years ago. My bike had a handlebar bag on it. In another few years, i think they'll let me come back..

Use clear bottles and licorice flavored sports drink. It is the only way.

"gatorade is not a sports drink. it is meant for fat teenagers who think drinking it makes them look like cool athletes."
And what would be the proper sports drink for us fat old men that want to look like cool athletes? Or else like bicyclists? (Actually, I really would like to know the drink of choice, as I wind up using Gatorade due to availability.)
