Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Opinion on SOUL Bikes T-shirt

Hi Folks,

Semi related to bikes I suppose. Just did a couple of simple T-shirt designs. Let me know your thoughts. For sure there are better graphic designers out there than myself. Just something to take our minds off more important things like bicycles.... fire away.

https://www.bikesoul.com/gallery/Misc/tshirt

PS. I linked it because the file is really big, otherwise the graphic can't be seen. Also, if the page doesn't load, just "shift" reload. I seriously need an IT guy, can't seem to figure out why it doesn't want to load....

i'd wear one of the plain ones with just the SOUL logo on the front and "cycling is a religion", the one with the bike is just too busy.

I like the one with just the logo, but would prefer it if it was Black with white letters. or White with Black letters. the colors on the lettering aren't too appealing.

The colors are a little funky but I like the logo designs.

Another vote for small breasted logo on the front, large logo on the back, lose the religion part.

Also vote for a free shirt with a wheel order

I would put the back on the front above where a pocket would be and be done with it

The thing about that is that the general public won't get the correlation to "SOUL" wheels. They'll just think you're a hip black dude like Samuel L. Jackson.

Another vote for the large logo on the back and a small breast logo on the front. Nothing wrong with the religion phrase, especially if it's the company slogan. The bike one and the "wheelsets titanium frames" are too blatantly advertisements. Maybe put People don't mind rocking a company logo and url, but few people want to feel like they're wearing half the catalog. If someone sees the shirt and gets curious, they will ask the wearer or visit bikesoul.com

I like the font and left justify on the red one, would be cool to see that option in the other shirt colours. I agree the bike graphic is a bit much, just the name and slogan is plenty.

The SOUL / wheelsets / ti frames one is nice, but:

A: the tracking is way too tight...let the letters breathe a little
B: Titanium Frames should be on the same line - it's confusing otherwise

Is there a way to tell who the paid vendors are? A car forum I moderated had platinum, gold, and silver vendor logos that went under the user's name, along with the benefits of each plan.

Make one that says
"South Korea's got Seoul"
and put a pic of an asian guy with an afro.

I would totally rock that.

Enjoy

This is my last OT post but, I just look for the icon next to the name that tells whether someone has a paid membership.

I like the bike schematics one, but I'd take out the components text.

PS: Sean I'm sorry I haven't emailed you about the fork yet. I've got a cycling tour that is taking up most of my time / money.
