Road bike geometry 101
Looking for it; not providing it.
The term "aggressive geometry" is often bandied about. But I guess I have to admit, I really don't understand it. I can understand that a longer wheelbase may make a bike more comfortable, but less responsive and that different materials will give a bike a different feel. But these things seem to go to the inherent tradeoffs between comfort and performance.
I am more wondering about things like tube angles. If we assume 2 bikes that have the same height difference between saddle & bars and the same reach as well as same wheelbase and materials, components, etc., how do different tube angles make one more aggressive than the other? Just wondering.

aggressive: more forward position, more weight on arms, steeper HTA for more responsive steering input, lower head tube to allow more aero position.
