Seeing that wheel folded with half of it flat on the ground doesn't give me much confidence in that brand of wheel.

I thinks it's one of those Cat 5 crashfests somewhere. That's going to hurt his average speed.

emayex 06-21-10 02:38 PM

Quicksand!

I think the guy was unable to hold his line. He got yelled at afterwards, and went home to his grandma in tears soon after.

Freds and their fancy wheels. This was probably some city limits sprint.

Trucker Dan 06-21-10 02:44 PM

Good thing I saw this. I will never buy highroad wheels.

wens 06-21-10 02:50 PM

Man, this must have been the running of the poseurs, I have no idea where you found that many people who think they look good in pro team's kit.

Don't worry, we @ BF as a consensus don't have much confidence you put the wattage out to make an ill-timed decision like that surging @ 40 mph.

jsharr 06-21-10 02:59 PM

I hope Outside Magazine gets that pic and shops some new words onto Cav's jersey.

milnerpt 06-21-10 05:27 PM

enjoi07 06-21-10 05:28 PM

If you look afterwards, you can see it spring back. I wouldn't ride it, but.....

I sent a text message to my bro with the Tour of Suisse results. He said "Damn you, I am watching it live!"
Apparently it wasn't.
