Lancaster (PA) Metric Century - August 15, 2010
Are any forum members planning to do the Lancaster Bicycle Club's Covered Bridges Metric Century on August 15? We've had good turn out from forum members in the past. Unfortunately the thread in the Northeast forum hasn't generated as much of a response as in previous years, so I thought I'd give it a bit more exposure here. Please note that the registration closes at 3,000 riders or July 1, whichever comes first. Day of event registration is not an option. It's fun to put a face with the names (even chipcom), so I hope to see a lot of Bike Forums members out there!
Edit: According to Active.com, the registration has been extended through Monday July 5th at 9:59 pm.

Riding like its 1990
I graduated from Millersville U in Lancaster County. That should be a really great scenic ride... and lots of rolling hills!

Nice, I'll add you to the list in the other thread.
Bummer, it would have been nice to have you along.
They're not too bad, there's really only one "big" climb on the course (relatively speaking). The heat, humidity, and wind are often bigger factors, but it's still a fun time.

I sure wish I could this year but it is a long ride from Toronto. I would love to see the gang again. I would not be really comfortable riding it on my beater anyway. Have a good ride and I will be here, pouting.
Cheers,
Brian J.
